Htc Sensation: Free Premium Navigation


Do you know your HTC Sensation comes with Premium Navigation? When you purchase you Sensation, you are given a voucher code inside your box.

Then from your phone, go to 'Location' app and then enter your voucher code. You will then be able to use the premium navigation for free.

However, the premium navigation comes with voice navigation but only for a 30-Days trial. After that, you will still be able to use the premium navigation but without voice.

Thus, if you are looking for voice navigation, you might want to consider other Navigation app but if you are fine without the voice (just like me) then having free premium navigation is good enough.

Update: Premium Navigation is free for life once you've entered the Voucher Code.

By the way, if you are using HTC Desire HD, you get this premium navigation for free as well. And the best part is that you won't even need to enter the voucher code. Just go to your 'Location' app and that's it.

Update: Other HTC Phone like Desire HD only comes with 30-Day trial unless you have the voucher code.

    Funny...I got a T-mobile USA sensation a week ago and no such voucher was in the box...

    Probably not available in your country or your carrier. I have it in Malaysia. Even my girlfriend's Desire HD has it

    Sorry to hear that. Mine was a bit disappointing too sometimes as the map wasn't really the latest version and thus couldn't find certain location

    Where/who did you bought it from? It is a voucher with the words Premium Navigation on it and at the bottom of the voucher you'll get your voucher code. But not sure if EVO 3D has it.

    Hi aman, I just asked Cubic Platform (Official HTC Retailer in Malaysia) and was told that the EVO 3D do comes with the free premium navigation.

    Hi Jared, there should have been a lot of pamphlets inside the box such as user guides and etc and one of it read Premium Navigation. On the bottom of first page of the Premium Navigation pamphlets you'll find your voucher code. If you found it then you can enter the voucher code into your phone to activate the service.

    Hi. I purchase the htc sensation in singapre. before i enter the voucher. i can use the free premium navi. now that i entered the voucher, nothing seems to had changed. Its only state that voucher been accepted n so. How long can i use the service.

    It was available as a trial version that only lasts about 30 days upon activation before you enter the voucher code.

    After you've entered the voucher code, you will be able to use it for as long as you want.

    There is no voucher in the box. It's automatic for 30 days once you activate the premium navigation. In other words, the first 30 days is free when you activate premium navigation. The voucher is sent to you after the fact.

      Is that true ?? I just bought a HTC Sensation XE (Malaysia), I simply can't found the voucher code ! But, I was given a trial navigation for 30 days. so, the voucher code will send to me after 30 days ?

      Not sure bout sensation xe but they won't send you the voucher code. If the voucher code is not in the box means they didn't give it for free.

      I tried papago and it seems to be the best in my opinion. The HTC map seems to be outdated

    Hello, how many times can i use the voucher code, i reset my phone and it is taking too long to read the voucher code, it is on verifying..

    The voucher follows your phone meaning it can be used over and over again after you do a reset on your phone. It seems to take too long for me too but if you received email saying that it is activated then it means it is done. You can cancel the verifying thing.
